Rekha Müller
​As an experienced certified midwife, I have been working in the Zurich area since 2014. Born and raised in the city of Zurich, I currently live with my husband and our dog in Wangen near Dübendorf. My roots are in India (Kerala), which gives me an intercultural perspective and sensitivity.
With my many years of experience and expertise, I am available to provide you with individually tailored support during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period.
It is my main concern to offer you and your family comprehensive support in all aspects related to childbirth. Whether it's questions, concerns, useful tips or simply listening, I am here for you. My Curriculum Vitae
My educational roots go back to my school days in Oerlikon (Zurich), and my studies took me to Winterthur at the ZHAW. Since graduating, I have continued my education in various areas, including Ayurvedic pregnancy massage, kinesiology taping, sacroiliac joint unblocking, and acupuncture. Of course, I have also completed the required continuing education courses in adult and neonatal resuscitation while working at the hospital.
My professional background includes caring for women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. In my career, I have attended over 300 births and expanded my knowledge in various areas such as gynecology, pregnancy massage, taping and acupuncture. During this time, I performed pregnancy checks, provided counseling sessions for pregnant women and their partners, and performed acupuncture treatments to prepare for birth and relieve pregnancy discomfort. I accompanied women during childbirth and cared for them during their hospital stay. In the process, I prepared families for everyday life at home and performed the necessary examinations on mother and child. Since 2014 I worked in the private clinic Bethanien and in a gynecological practice before I decided to start my own business in Wangen at the end of 2021.

Since then, I have been caring for women and their families in the area throughout the postpartum period in the home environment, offering advice and support. My calm and patient manner is always appreciated by families in this sometimes hectic and new life situation. I always take time to discuss individual questions and concerns to ensure the best possible care.
